Here comes the end of 2010 and I am actually doing this recap on the very last day of the year. Tomorrow everyone of us is gonna wake up to a brand new year, and how amazing it is that a brand new year can mean so much to anybody when each year we are still breathing the same old air and got streamed by the same old sunshine. I guess what really make us human looking forward to each and every brand new year is probably the love we have for our family and friends because we need them as long as we live.
2010 was pretty fantastic for me besides all the ups and down and all the stress from work and life a human could probably have, I’m glad I live through it to saw all sorts of smiling faces from the people who are important to me, and also blessed by all the greatness that happens this year. Although I’m not counting down the New Year in Hong Kong like I did last year, but I’m feeling so fine to blog this at home on a night considered so special. Anything is bliss, as long as you are feeling comfortable with it.
So how’s my 2010 like? Let’s start from here; Chinese New Year in 2010 was really great. CNY is the greatest holidays I’ve ever had every year. Besides spending most of my time with my families and friends there’s a bonus add up this year, a friend who becomes someone ever so important to me. I met my fate mate Sharon for the very first time and we had a simple yet interesting night out which is totally unpredictably shockingly funny. In total we met three times this year and certainly looking forward for more.
So like they said when there are good times, bad times are just around the corner. I fall out of a relationship but it was totally fine. Everything happens for a reason and every end is a new beginning with a decision. Every decision has a reason and every reason has it's own meaning.
I bought my first DSLR camera as well back in April. And since then I have been clicking mad with it. This is one of the best investments I’ve made and never regret. Since the purchase it's been with me to anywhere I go and see everything I see. Although there’s a saying… “Camera always fails to capture the best moments”, but think again... Without it you get nothing. So I consider it as one of my “make sure bring along stuff”.
Also I made a trip to Melbourne and had a short meet up with Chriss for some hot chocolate after having all those craves. Thanks to Chriss for the company on that chilly day and brought me to Max Brenner just because I wanted to see and feel their hug mug. Haha! Will try to catch up with her again in 2011 CNY if possible.I bought my first DSLR camera as well back in April. And since then I have been clicking mad with it. And then guess what? After some long and winding careful thoughts my sister opened her first fashion boutique. It’s good because besides making some money, mum have a place to browse for her own clothes. Both sis and mum get to come Bangkok quite frequently to do the purchase. And at the same time I get to see them a few times more in a year.
And not long before the boutique was open my sis had a boyfriend. I don’t know exactly when it started but I only knew that this man is like some knight in shining armor or something where only can be seen in fairy tales. Only the name and deeds can be heard but nowhere to be seen.
Heading over to friends, basically only the JB gang visits me in Bangkok but this year the KL gangs is climbing up the chart. More visits from them means more drinking.
JB
Also for the first time we had greygoose vodka on a normal night out at DEMO. The first time witnessing my bro Stanley got drunk feeling as high as anywhere a rocket can be.
In 2010 we celebrated my niece Takky’s very first birthday, all grown up to a bigger baby girl. Doctor said she’s a very tall baby, a potential model in future.
Also I received two gifts this year, not many but prove to be precious because when you least expect the unexpected, that’s perfected. Courtesy of Jimmy and Sharon. Oh and also one from Stanley, a Porter Bag for my camera!
In 2010 most people have surpasses the basic when having an iphone is not more than enough and everyone thinks it is a need to have an ipad. So there goes the ipad craze.
Again I was in Vegas for a business trip. But shops a lot this time, and guess what? Being a non-bagaholic, I bought my first LV bag.
Errrmm.. I guess this pretty much sums up my 2010. Of course there is more but to list out everything seems too long and i'm not a good writer. So I Will end it here.
